Norwich City goalkeeper Aston Oxborough has extended his contract with the club to June 30, 2022 with the option of a further year.
Oxborough has been with the Canaries since 2010, when he joined the Norwich City Academy aged 12.
He first made the step up to the first team squad for pre-season in 2018-19 and has spent this season on loan at National League South leaders Wealdstone FC.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk, Oxborough said: “It’s a big step for me to sign for another two years. It’s what I’ve been working for over the last two seasons, so I’m delighted to sign a new deal.
“It’s been going well at Wealdstone so far this season. We’re sitting top of the league and have been for most weeks of the season. I’ve had some really good experiences, so I’m grateful to them for taking me.
“Hopefully, football can come back, and we’ll win the league, but we’ll see what happens.”
