Todd Cantwell sent Norwich City through to the second round of Leyton Orient’s #UltimateQuaranTeam tournament on FIFA 20 on Monday afternoon.
Ondrej Duda put City in front midway through the first half at the virtual Carrow Road against Fleetwood Town, before the visitors pulled one back in the second half to make things interesting.
In the end, it was the Dereham Deco who booked the Canaries’ place in the second round of the cup when Teemu Pukki found the back of the net in the 74th minute in front of more than 2,000 spectators on Twitch.
Cue jubilation from Cantwell, who proved he can walk the walk as a FIFA player against strong opposition, with his digital counterpart even picking up Man of the Match in the game!
We await the second-round draw from Leyton Orient, but City fans can follow our involvement in the tournament through our social media channels.
Thank-you to Leyton Orient and Fleetwood Town for their cooperation in the match!
