Teemu Pukki and Alex Tettey have both recovered from illness and are available for Norwich City’s trip to Sheffield United on Saturday.
The pair were left on the bench for the midweek FA Cup victory at Tottenham Hotspur and only Tettey was introduced as a substitute.
But both have recovered to deliver Daniel Farke a selection boost ahead of Saturday’s game.
There was also positive news on the fitness of centre-back pairing Christoph Zimmermann (hamstring) and Timm Klose (knee).
“Christoph Zimmermann returned to the training pitch yesterday,” Farke said at his Friday press conference. “We will wait to see how his body develops and reacts to our light session this after. He could be involved tomorrow.
“Timm Klose returned back to team training this week. We have a normal training week next week and we’ll see how he gets on. It’s great for the group to have him back.
“He’s been out for 6 and a half months. It’s important for him now to take it step by step. Next week will be his first proper week together with the team. He could be a topic to be picked for one of the games soon.
On Emi Buendia who came off in the Spurs game, Farke said: “Thank god it was just cramp. He hasn’t played in the starting line-up for five weeks so it’s understandable.”
The City head coach also confirmed that on loan goalkeeper Ralf Fährmann has been allowed to talk to other clubs. He expects a decision on the future of the German stopper over the coming days.
