Norwich City defender Max Aarons has been passed the torch from teammate Todd Cantwell to represent the Canaries in the ePL Invitational this afternoon.
Aarons’ recently featured in the Football’s Staying Home Cup hosted by the England national team. The young right-back came up against Cantwell in the quarter-finals, which would be his last game of the tournament, losing out on golden goal after the 90 minutes ended in a draw.
Aarons has also featured in City’s very own Twitch livestreams, playing Ben Godfrey and Cantwell. The young defender won two and drew two of his games against Godfrey, before losing two games to Cantwell.
Entering the second showing of the ePL Invitational in the round of 16, Aarons takes on fellow England Under-21s player Ryan Sessegnon, who represents Tottenham Hotspur.
One of Tottenham's newest signings, Sessegnon demonstrated his FIFA ability by beating West Ham's Michail Antonio in a 'London derby' mock-up FIFA match.
Sessegnon had to work a bit harder to get into the last 16 of this tournament however, coming up against FIFA Youtube star Spencer Owen beforehand. Sessegnon entered the game as the underdog but emerged the victor as he beat Owen 3-1 to progress.
You can check out the highlights of the match below to see how he fared.
