Following the conclusion of Norwich City’s academy games programme and season, the club can now confirm that nine players will leave when their respective contracts expire on June 30, 2020.
Tom Scully, Alfie Payne, Billy Johnson, Savvas Mourgos, Mason Bloomfield, Diallang Jaiyesimi and Timi Odusina, all most recently part of City’s under-23 side, will leave the club at the end of June.
Two players from the club’s under-18 setup, Anthonius Berkeley and Arash Ahmadi, will also officially leave the club on June 30.
Steve Weaver, Academy Manager, told canaries.co.uk. “We always make sure that we begin this process at the earliest opportunity and that was no different this season.
“All of the lads have been aware of the situation for some time, some even prior to the January transfer window. We want to allow the players who know they are leaving the club as much time to plan and prepare for whatever awaits them after Norwich City.
“It’s of course a tough and challenging process for all involved, but we wish all of those players leaving us the very best.”
All at Norwich City would like to thank each of the players for their contributions towards the football club and wish them well in their future careers.
