To commemorate Remembrance Day 2020, Norwich City is asking fans of all ages to paint a poppy on a rock of their choice and use the hashtag #NorwichRemembers on Twitter to share it.
Saturday's match against Swansea City is our dedicated Remembrance Day fixture will involve wreaths being laid pitchside - one representing Norwich City and one from Swansea City. We shall then observe a minute’s silence that will start and end on the referee’s whistle, during which the Last Post will be played.
Both teams will have poppies on their shirts and will join all other Sky Bet Championship clubs in supporting The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
Limited edition poppy pin badges are now available to buy from the club ahead of Remembrance Day. The pin badges are available ONLINE, with all proceeds going to the Poppy Appeal 2020.
The shirts from this year’s Remembrance fixtures will also auctioned off to help support the fantastic work the Royal British Legion does by supporting members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families all year round.
