International Round-Up: McLean scores penalty as Scotland reach Euro 2020

Kenny McLean scored in the penalty shootout as Scotland beat Serbia on Thursday to reach Euro 2020 - their first major tournament since 1998.

The City midfielder came on in the 82nd minute, before Serbia scored late on to take the match to extra-time.

Elsewhere, Adam Idah played the first 71 minutes of Republic of Ireland’s 3-0 friendly defeat away to England.

Michael McGovern was an unused substitute as Northern Ireland failed to qualify for Euro 2020 following a 2-1 defeat to Slovakia.

City loanee Sebastian Soto was also an unused substitute during USA’s 0-0 friendly draw at Wales.
