The next edition of On The Ball City, for our home match against Birmingham City, is now available to order online.
The programme, which features a uniquely designed front cover from our award-winning in-house team, has a feature interview with new signing Ben Gibson as he talks about why he joined Norwich City and what it was like working under coaches like Gareth Southgate, Tony Mowbray and Aitor Karanka – the boss of Tuesday night’s opponents Birmingham City.
Also inside the 116-page programme is a chat with former England and Norwich keeper Rob Green, about his debut in the white-hot atmosphere of an East Anglian derby, while Zoë Whitford recalls the moment Ken Nethercott dislocated his shoulder and played on in our FA Cup quarter-final Sheffield United in Splendid Rushes.
There is a trip back to the penultimate game of the 1969-70 season in our memory match feature, as Ken Foggo recalls a 6-0 win over Birmingham City, and David Thornhill recalls a season from the early 70s when both Norwich and the Blues were promoted from the old Second Division.
There is the usual quizzes, reports on the academy and guide to the opposition as well as an article recalling Norwich’s Munich triumph – which happened on October 20 in 1993.
