The City centre-half made his second successive start for Lee Bowyer's side, repaying the faith with his contributions to Charlton's second League One win of the season.
Elsewhere in League One, Carlton Morris joined ex-Canary Cameron Jerome on the scoresheet for Russell Martin’s MK Dons side as they beat Gillingham 2-0. City loanee Louis Thompson was also involved in the win, playing 82 minutes.
Looking to non-league, Louis Lomas played all 90 minutes in Slough Town’s three-goal comeback to draw 4-4 with Welling United on Saturday.
The Rebels were three goals down going into the last 20 minutes of the game, before scoring three times to take a hard-earned point, two of the goals coming in injury time.
Sam McCallum played 29 minutes in Coventry City’s 2-0 loss to Brentford on Saturday, the left-back coming on in the 61st minute.
Meanwhile in 2. Bundesliga, Philip Heise played 88 minutes in Karlsruher’s 3-0 win over Sandhausen, giving the side their first win in the 2020-21 league campaign.
Turning attention to the National League, both Archie Mair and Simon Power featured in King’s Lynn’s 2-1 loss to Weymouth, the former playing all 90 minutes, whilst the latter came on in the 83rd minute.
Keeping it local, Joe Rose made yet another appearance for Bury Town, taking a 1-0 loss to Loughborough Dynamo.
Finally heading north to Scotland, Aidan Fitzpatrick made the starting eleven for Queen of the South in their 2-1 loss to Ayr, losing their first league game of the season.
