Loan round-up: Power nets for King's Lynn Town

7 October 2020

King's Lynn Town recorded their first-ever win at National league level on Tuesday night, with City winger Simon Power on the scoresheet in a 3-2 victory over Maidenhead.

Power equalised for the Linnets in the first-half with a sensational free-kick from distance as both team traded blows throughout the match.

With the scores level entering stoppage time, Aarons Jones delivered the decisive blow to send all three points back to west Norfolk.

Power's City teammate Archie Mair was an unused substitute.

Elsewhere, in National League North, Caleb Richards made his debut for Kiddersminster Harriers in their 2-1 defeat at home to Chester.

In the National League South, Louis Lomas played 90 minutes and helped keep a clean sheet in Slough Town's 1-0 win over Hemel Hempstead.

In the EFL Trophy, Carlton Morris and Louis Thompson both featured for Milton Keynes Dons in their 3-2 win at Stevenage.

Thompson played the opening 66 minutes, whereas Morris was introduced as a first-half substitute on 30 minutes. He scored within two minutes to help MK Dons on their way to victory.
