Loan round-up: Four points from six for Adshead

7 September 2020

Norwich City Academy midfielder Dan Adshead has enjoyed a positive start to the Eerste Divisie for 2020-21 with SC Telstar.

Having drawn their opening game 2-2 at home to FC Volendam, Telstar put three past FC Eindhoven on Saturday to win 3-2.

Adshead played the first 91 minutes of the victory, which lifts Telstar to fifth in the second tier of Dutch football, just two points off the top of the table.

There was less to write home about for City loanee Carlton Morris, who had a penalty saved by Marko Marosi in Milton Keynes Dons' Carabao Cup Round one game on Saturday.

MK Dons lost 1-0 to Coventry City, with Morris playing the full match. After the game, Russell Martin provided an update on fellow City loanee Louis Thompson, saying the midfielder’s injury isn’t as bad as first feared, and that he could be fit in three or four weeks.
