Return of supporters: Information for season ticket holders and members

7 September 2020

Whilst Norwich City still await confirmation from the government and EFL surrounding a return of supporters to matches at Carrow Road, the club can now outline how season ticket holders and members can apply for tickets to attend the club’s opening home league games of the 2020-21 season.

The club has worked closely with its Safety Advisory Group and has agreed for a maximum of 8,000 supporters to attend games at Carrow Road, subject to government, EFL and ground regulations.

Initial government guidance had indicated that City’s October fixtures would take place in front of a reduced stadium capacity, though the club is yet to receive confirmation from the Department of Digital, Culture, Media & Sport and relevant governing bodies for the club’s pilot fixture against Preston North End.

This ticketing process has been developed to guarantee season ticket holders, should they so wish, an opportunity to attend at least one of City’s home games at Carrow Road over the course of September and October.

All season ticket holders and members will receive a detailed written communication from the club over the coming days.

Season ticket holders

From 9am on Monday, September 14 through to 5pm on Tuesday, September 15, season ticket holders will be able to apply for tickets for one of the club’s opening four home games (Preston North End, Derby County, Birmingham City and Wycombe Wanderers) in Window 1.

Should any tickets remain, season ticket holders will then have the option of picking any of the remaining three home league games to attend in Window 2, which opens at 9am on Wednesday, September 16.

Season ticket holders will receive a full pro-rata rebate for any home games that they are unable to attend, due to enforced social distancing measures, an unsuccessful ticket application or they simply do not wish to attend.

Rebates will be placed on the season ticket holders’ personal ticketing account ten days after each game. Season ticket holders will then either be able to use this to purchase future ticketing products, or have the ability to withdraw the value of credit to the card saved on their account.

Note, all rebates will automatically be issued to the account of non-attending supporters. There is no requirement for supporters to contact the club to claim their rebate.

Season ticket holders who are not able to attend home league games will be able to watch live streams of City’s games on iFollow. The EFL will be providing every season ticket holder with a free iFollow match pass for all home and midweek away league games, up until a return to full stadium capacity.

iFollow match pass promotional codes will be emailed to season ticket holders. Season ticket holders are reminded to ensure that their email addresses are up to date.

Email addresses can be updated on the club’s ticketing website, which can be accessed by clicking here. Alternatively, email addresses can be updated by contacting the club’s ticket office on 01603 721902, option 1.

Home and junior members

Home and junior members will have the opportunity to purchase any tickets remaining for our first four home league games in Window 3, subject to availability.

The club will rebate 50 percent of all membership fees paid across home and junior memberships, owing to the reduced ability to purchase match tickets.

This rebate will automatically be placed on the personal ticketing account of members ahead of the club’s first home league game of the season on Saturday, September 19. Members will then either be able to use this to purchase future ticketing products or withdraw the value of credit to the card saved on their account. This will then be reviewed in January 2021.

Away members

Whilst games are being played in front of a reduced capacity crowd, clubs will not be accepting away supporters in stadiums.

Once restrictions are further lifted, the club will contact away members to provide the relevant information on away tickets.

As with home memberships, the club will rebate 50 percent of monies paid for away memberships.

This rebate will be automatically placed on the personal ticketing account of members ahead of the club’s first home league game of the season on Saturday, September 19. Members will then either be able to use this to purchase future ticketing products or withdraw the value of credit to the card saved on their account. Again, this will then be reviewed in January 2021.
