Daniel Farke has declared Emi Buendia and Marco Stiepermann fit for Sunday's visit to AFC Bournemouth.
The attacking midfield duo are yet to feature in City's league campaign so far but both have recovered from setbacks to come back into contention.
Farke said at his pre-match press conference: "Emi struggled a bit during the beginning of the week with bruising on his shin but he's trained the last two days and is available.
"Marco Stiepermann has also trained this week and is available. We have one more training day left on Saturday so we'll see how things go.
New additions to the treatment table include Kieran Dowell and Jacob Sorensen, both with differing timescales on their return dates.
"We are all disappointed for Kieran. It’s a big blow for him. He was one of our key signings in the summer. His surgery went well but he won’t play again this year. He will come back stronger.
"Sadly, Jacob is out again. He has little strain in the inner ligament of his knee but it's nothing too serious. He had a scan and it’s not too bad. He should only be out for four or five days."
Elsewhere, Farke updated the press on the fitness of long-term absentee Grant Hanley: "Grant has handled the load in training this week. It's been his first full week training with the team and he's looked sharp.
"But we don’t have to rush anything with him as we have centre-backs fit."
