Introducing our Michelle Dack fan of the season nominees for 2020-21!

13 April 2021

Norwich City is delighted to reveal the three finalists for the 2020-21 Fan of the Season award.

The award is once again dedicated to Canaries superfan Michelle Dack, who sadly passed away in January 2018.

Michelle attended many Norwich City matches over the years including 908 consecutive games by the time of her last match against Ipswich Town at Portman Road in October 2017. Her commitment to the Canaries epitomises everything that the award symbolises.

The club received hundreds of nominations for the award and have whittled them down to just three finalists:

Liam Sayer

Liam is a passionate young Norwich City supporter who suffers from Cerebral Palsy and during the pandemic, he's raised over £2,000 for CSF. He got involved in the #TwoPointSixChallenge during the first lockdown by running/walking 26 minutes for 26 consecutive days! Liam's mum Colleen at the time said: "I’m very proud of him and what he is achieving, he amazes me each day at what he overcomes - he just wants to do something for CSF as they help him and others so much."

Diane Blazier (Norwich City Fans Social Club)

Diane has been a season ticket holder for over 40 years and is the founder and leader of the Norwich City Fans Social Club, a team of volunteers which attempts to bring fans together with fun events to raise money for the Community Sports Foundation. With meeting up in person proving a challenge over the past year, NCFSC have organised virtual fan forums, a mental health event, quizzes, activities and auctions. Since 2015, they've raised over £35,000 for CSF!

Jack Reeve and Chris Reeve (TalkNorwichCity)

Season ticket holders Jack and Chris run the popular YouTube fan channel TalkNorwichCity (TNC) and have hosted online 'watchalongs' during the pandemic. With no supporters permitted at the majority of Norwich City fixtures this season, many have turned to TNC for company during the 90 minutes whilst they cheer on their beloved Canaries from home. Supporters can interact with Jack and Chris during the streams which enables them to feel a part of the action!

Voting for this year's fan of the season, as well as voting for the Norwich City player of the season award, will go live at 5pm this evening.
