Loan Round-Up: McCallum earns consecutive clean sheets

Sam McCallum kept back-to-back clean sheets as Coventry City won six points in the Championship last week.

The Sky Blues beat Rotherham United away 1-0 on Thursday and Barnsley at home 2-0 on Sunday to go 18th in the division.

FC Basel also avoided conceding a goal, Timm Klose playing 90 minutes in their 5-0 win at home to third-placed Servette on Sunday. Basel are second in the Swiss Super League.

Josip Drmic got another goal to his name for HNK Rijeka, who lost 3-2 away to NK Istra 1961 in the semi-final of the Croatian Cup on Wednesday.

In the Belgian Pro League, Danel Sinani played the full 90 minutes as Waasland-Beveren beat Oud-Heverlee Leuven 2-1 on Sunday to go 17th.

Aidan Fitzpatrick played 80 minutes for Queen of the South in Tuesday’s 1-0 home defeat against Raith Rovers, and came on in the 61st minute of Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Dunfermline Athletic. Queen of the South are now sixth in the Scottish Championship.

Finally, Tyrese Omotoye came on in the 56th minute of Swindon Town’s 4-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. The Robins remain bottom of League One.
