Daniel Farke hailed Norwich City's display in their 2-0 win over Bristol City as their best performance of the season so far.
The Canaries controlled proceedings from minute one against the Robins and were well-worth the three points at Carrow Road.
The goals were courtesy of a brace from striker Jordan Hugill but it was a all-round team effort which saw City cruise to victory.
Speaking to canaries.co.uk after the game, Farke said: "It's always difficult to compare games because each game is different. But all in all, this was probably our best performance of the season so far.
"We were dominant from the first to the last second. We dominated the ball, dominated the game and although we were in the lead, just one team was playing.
"It was a fantastic first-half with many, many chances. My biggest concern was the game was not done! Bristol City have the quality to score out of nothing so it was important to dominate the game further on and try to push for the second goal.
"That’s what we did in a fantastic way. We return back to the dressing room with a clean sheet and no shots on target for the opposition.
"It was a pretty dominant performance against a very good side. They’ve had many wins in recent weeks for that, I just have praise for the lads today.
"The only thing is that we could have scored a few more goals but that’s a bit of the story of our season – our shot conversion could be better. But all in all, I can’t complain too much. It was a top class performance.
"I’m delighted for the lads, they deserve all the praise."
Farke reserved praise for his goalscorer on the night: "Jordan has skills in the box. He’s able to get on the end of crosses, of set pieces and deliveries and that’s what he showed today
"Before the goal, he showed a great run to the front post and should have scored in this situation.
"After that, it was a great cross from Todd Cantwell and then a fantastic header. The work from Max Aarons for the second was fantastic and Jordan showed this instinct to get the luck with the goal. You have to do this to get the ball over the line.
"I’m delighted for him. He deserves the spotlight today."
Farke was also keen to highlight how solid defensively his team were: "We had possession for nearly two thirds of the game but it’s also important to be there in a good setup to control their counter attacks.
"And we did. Many, many compliments to our last row – no shots on target [for Bristol City] shows everything. We were very concentrated in our defensive play.
"I have to praise my defensive guys and Tim [Krul], it was not easy for him after he was out. He was focused and concentrated.
"Max Aarons was fantastic today, Jacob Lungi Sorensen – I have to say I’ve seen a better performance from a left-back in the whole league during this season. He was unreal today."
