Fellow City loanee Dan Adshead played the first 66 minutes of the match for Telstar, who are now seventh in the Eerste Divisie.

It was also a good week for Aidan Fitzpatrick, who was part of the Queen of the South side to climb to eighth in the Scottish Championship with consecutive victories.

Fitzpatrick played 90 minutes of Tuesday’s 2-0 win at Raith and 81 minutes of Saturday’s 3-2 win at home to Ayr.

Blackburn Rovers sit five spots higher following a 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town and a 2-0 win away to Birmingham City, Tom Trybull playing a total of 32 minutes across the two fixtures.
