Norwich City travel to Oakwell Stadium this weekend for Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Barnsley (3pm KO).
Our Match Preview looks at how the Tykes have performed so far this season, the officials in charge of the game and how you can follow the action live.
With ten wins, four draws and 11 defeats in the league, Barnsley are currently 11th in the Sky Bet Championship with 34 points.
Recent league form has been difficult, Barnsley losing to Watford, Swansea City and Norwich City after beating Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town.
As for their FA Cup journey, Barnsley beat Tranmere Rovers 2-0 at home in the third round thanks to goals from Michal Helik and Cauley Woodrow.
Last season, the Tykes were knocked out in the fourth round with a 4-2 defeat at Portsmouth.
In the 43 meetings between Norwich and Barnsley since 1922, there have been 19 Norwich wins, ten Barnsley wins and 14 draws.
Last time we met, Emi Buendia’s second half goal was the difference as the Canaries won 1-0 at Carrow Road.
As for our previous visit to Oakwell Stadium, that came in March 2018 when Josh Murphy’s equaliser cancelled out Ollie McBurnie’s goal to secure a 1-1 draw.
John Brooks has been appointed to take charge of Saturday’s match, Shaun Hudson and Akil Howson his assistants and Andy Woolmer the fourth official.
This season, Brooks has overseen 17 matches, including City’s 1-0 defeat to Watford and 2-2 draw against Preston North End.
