Midweek football returns to Carrow Road on Wednesday (6pm KO) as Norwich City host Bristol City in the Sky Bet Championship.
Our Match Preview looks at how the Robins have performed this season, the officials in charge of the match and how you can follow the action live.
It’s been a mostly positive season so far for Bristol City, who sit ninth in the league with 11 wins, three draws and nine defeats ahead of this fixture, putting them six points behind AFC Bournemouth in third.
Recent form has been promising for Dean Holden’s side too. Following consecutive defeats to Rotherham United, Millwall and Preston North End, Bristol City beat Wycombe Wanderers and lost to Luton Town before knocking Portsmouth out of the FA Cup and winning at home to Preston.
Famara Diedhiou has scored in three of the last four fixtures.
Last time we met, an impressive first half from Norwich saw the Canaries win 3-1 at Ashton Gate thanks to goals from Teemu Pukki and Emi Buendia.
In the 73 meetings between Norwich and Bristol City since 1909, there have been 35 Norwich wins, 20 Bristol City wins and 18 draws.
Last time they came to Carrow Road, Bristol City twice took the lead but lost 3-2 as Ben Godfrey and Kenny McLean got on the scoresheet to continue the Championship title challenge.
James Linington has been appointed to take charge of Wednesday’s game, Lee Venamore and Robert Hyde his assistants and Charles Breakspear the fourth official.
Linington last saw over a Norwich game for our 1-0 defeat at AFC Bournemouth in September, McLean and Diego Rico going into the book that day.
