Team News: Farke hopeful of Krul return for Bristol City

19 January 2021

Tim Krul has ‘a solid chance to be involved’ in Norwich City’s upcoming Sky Bet Championship match at home to Bristol City, Daniel Farke said in his pre-match press conference.

Krul has been ruled out of recent games with COVID-19, but has since recovered having gone through the isolation period.

Teemu Pukki will miss out, however, due to a side strain suffered in training last week. “His side strain hasn't improved much and I'm pretty sure he'll miss the FA Cup game, so we hope he's back for Middlesbrough,” Farke added.

"Some good news - Lukas Rupp returns to team training today. Josh Martin came back to team training on Sunday so is a topic for the squad tomorrow.

“Christoph Zimmermann will miss tomorrow with a hip muscle strain that he got in the last FA Cup game. I hope he's ready for Saturday.

“Bali Mumba and Xavi Quintilla are still out for COVID reasons. Adam Idah is back after COVID but not yet back in team training so will miss this game.”
