Bio: Popular midfielder Bradley Johnson spent five seasons at Norwich City, four of which were in the Premier League.
He joined the Canaries, in 2011, following a successful spell at Leeds United where he helped the West Yorkshire club to promotion to the Championship. He made his Norwich debut on the opening day of the 2011/12 season at home to Stoke City and played 28 Premier League games for the club that season. The second campaign saw him feature in all but one of Norwich’s Premier League matches and come third in the vote for the club’s player of the season award.
He was a regular again the following season, netting three times in in 36 games, but unfortunately Norwich were relegated from the top flight. In the Championship Bradley, arguably, had his most memorable season in yellow and green as he netted 15 times in 45 games including rifling home the opening goal in an East Anglian derby at Carrow Road on March 1. He was also a key player in the play-off semi-final matches against Ipswich Town as we beat our local rivals before securing a return to the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Wembley.
However, the following campaign, he only started one out of the opening four matches and made a £6m switch to Derby County before the summer transfer window closed.
Bradley Johnson most memorable Norwich City goal is arguably his opener in the East Anglian derby at Carrow Road in March 2015. However, in dealing soley with efforts scored in the Premier League, Bradley first goal for the club was a classy header away at Bolton Wanderers on September 17, 2011, which proved to be the match winner.
Where is he now?
Bradley Johnson is still performing well in the Championship. Following four seasons at Derby, he moved to Blackburn Rovers, where he has been a regular in the starting XI for the past two seasons.
