Norwich City Football Club are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join the Academy Coaching Team in the role of Academy Youth Development Phase (YDP) Coach.
Academy Youth Development Phase Coach
Location: Lotus Training Centre, Norwich
Contract and Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, As and when required
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience, plus Company Benefits
This is an excellent role for someone who is positive, energetic and enjoys being “on the grass”, contributing strongly to the development of Academy players.
The role will involve working within the Youth Development Phase, contributing to the delivery and implementation of the Norwich City coaching and playing philosophy. The position will primarily be focused on working with U13 and U14 squads, taking a lead role in the management of these age groups.
In turn, Norwich City Football Club will offer the successful candidate an attractive balance of on-field work based at the Training Centre in Norwich paired with regular remote working where possible, outside of the training sessions. Due to the flexible nature of the role, applicants from outside the region are encouraged.
We are looking for someone who is an outstanding role model and a high-level development coach, possessing the ability to deliver challenging and engaging sessions consistently. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills in order to build a strong rapport with the players and colleagues. A knowledge of the Premier League Elite Player Performance Plan and Audit process is desirable, as well as experience working within the Youth Development Phase.
