Norwich City Football Club is committed to becoming a more sustainable organisation and therefore, we’re delighted to announce the launch of a new online sustainability hub, in association with our friends at Kotkamills.
The club takes its environmental responsibility very seriously and the new website will outline the work that’s being done at Carrow Road, the Lotus Training Centre and The Nest.
A number of projects have already been delivered, with others in the pipeline, and the new webpage is the home for all content relating to our sustainability initiatives.
Some of the work already done at the club has been executed with support from club partner Kotkamills. The Finland-based business are currently paving the way to sustainable living with fiber-based food packing materials, as well as wood and wood-based materials for construction, decor and furniture to businesses around the world.
As our partnership evolves, they will help us maximise our environmental efforts.
The webpage launch coincides with Earth Hour – a global environmental movement organised by the WWF to raise awareness and encourage people to take tangible action for the environment.
Earth Hour 2021 will be held between 8.30pm and 9.30pm on Saturday, March 27 (UK time).
Business and projects director Zoe Ward said: "Becoming a greener, more sustainable football club is hugely important to us and we're delighted to launch this new online hub which will showcase some of the work and steps we're putting in place.
“We know we still have a lot of work to do on this topic across all areas of the club, but we look forward to working with our suppliers and supporters to move in the right direction."
We now want you to get involved! We want to see what you’re doing in your daily routines to become greener. Do not hesitate getting in touch with us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
