Dates for your diary: City’s March schedule

1 March 2021

There are five games to play for Norwich City’s first team prior to the March international break.

Below is a full list of all first-team and Academy fixtures, all of which are subject to change. The FA’s process on the route forward for Norwich City Women’s tier remains ongoing.

Sky Bet Championship

  • Match 34 - Wednesday, March 3 (5.30pm) vs Brentford (H)
  • Match 35 - Saturday, March 6 (3pm) vs Luton Town (H)
  • Match 36 - Sunday, March 14 (12:15pm) vs Sheffield Wednesday (A)
  • Match 37 - Wednesday, March 17 (7pm) vs Nottingham Forest (A)
  • Match 38 - Saturday, March 20 (3pm) vs Blackburn Rovers (H)

Norwich are going into March off the back of five consecutive wins in February, and the month could hardly get off to a more fascinating start.

We welcome Brentford to Carrow Road as first faces second in the Sky Bet Championship on Wednesday, March 3. There was nothing to separate the sides in our 1-1 draw earlier in the season.

Luton Town, who’ve claimed victories against us twice this season in all competitions at Kenilworth Road, are then the visitors as we look to take our first three points against Nathan Jones’ side.

We’ll then be on the road for back-to-back away games against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest in mid-March, looking to take maximum points from our meetings with those sides this season.

Football returns to NR1 on Saturday, March 20 with the visit of Blackburn Rovers. It was a hard-fought 2-1 win at Ewood Park in December, Teemu Pukki scoring both goals that day.

Supporters will be kept up-to-date prior to each match on how to watch the action live.

Norwich City’s Under-23s head into March in ninth place in the Premier League 2 Division 2 with 20 points from 17 games.

David Wright’s side will face Reading and Newcastle United in the league this month, two sides in and around them in what remains a tight table.

It’s set to be a busy month for the Under-18s, who will take on Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Fulham in the Premier League U18 South in March, all sides above them at the time of writing.

There’s also the potential prospect of an FA Youth Cup Fourth Round tie at home to West Ham United following the announcement that the competition is set to recommence.

City fans will be notified when a time and date has been set for the fixture.
