Grant Hanley scored on his return to the Scotland side after a three-year absence to help his country battle to a 2-2 draw against Austria in their opening 2022 World Cup qualifier.
Hanley was named in the starting eleven and nodded home an equaliser on 71 minutes after Sasa Kalajdzic had given Austria the lead at Hampden Park.
Kalajdzic got his second of the night shortly after Hanley's equaliser before Aston Villa's John McGinn levelled the scores once again late in the game.
Hanley's City teammate Kenny McLean came on as an 88th minute substitute for Steve Clarke's men.
Elsewhere in World Cup qualification, Przemyslaw Placheta was an unused substitute for Poland in their 3-3 draw against Hungary.
Dimitris Giannoulis was absent from Greece's squad for their 1-1 draw against Spain.
Earlier in the day, City duo Max Aarons and Oliver Skipp (pictured) played 90 minutes each as England Under-21s began their UEFA Under-21 European Championship with a 1-0 defeat against Switzerland.
The Young Lions were beaten by Dan Ndoye's strike late on, and they'll look to recover from the setback when they take on Portugal on Sunday.
Todd Cantwell was an unused substitute for Aidy Boothroyd's men.
