Onel Hernandez scored his first goal for the Cuban national team in Sunday evening's World Cup qualifier against Curacao.
Leandro Bacuna gave Curacao the lead before Hernandez equalised in the 28th minute with a left-footed strike into the top right corner.
Cuba lost 2-1, however, to remain third in Group C with two games to go, both of which will be played in June.
It was Hernandez's second game for his country, having made his debut in Thursday's 1-0 loss to Guatemala.
Elsewhere on Sunday night, Sebastian Soto played the final half-hour as USA's Under-23s were knocked out of the Tokyo Olympics qualifiers following a 2-1 semi-final defeat to Honduras U23s.
There are no Canaries in international action on Monday, but more World Cup qualifiers await for Orjan Nyland (Norway), Tim Krul (Netherlands) and Danel Sinani (Luxembourg) at 7.45pm on Tuesday.
This Wednesday at 5pm, Oliver Skipp, Max Aarons and Todd Cantwell are all in contention to feature for England Under-21s as they take on Croatia U21s in the European U21 Championship.
The final international fixtures will then take place at 7.45pm, with Dimitris Giannoulis (Greece), Przemyslaw Placheta (Poland), Kenny McLean and Grant Hanley (Scotland) all in line for further World Cup qualifiers. At the same time, Teemu Pukki (Finland) could be involved in a friendly against Switzerland.
