Norwich City travel to the City Ground this week for Wednesday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture away to Nottingham Forest (7pm).
Our Match Preview looks at Forest’s season so far, the officials in charge of the game and how you can follow the action live from home.
With ten wins, 11 draws and 15 defeats, Chris Hughton’s side sit 17th in the Championship on 41 points ahead of Wednesday’s game.
Recent form has been relatively mixed for Forest, who followed 1-0 wins over Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United with a 1-1 draw away to Derby County.
In March, Forest were beaten 1-0 by Luton Town and Watford before salvaging a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Reading.
Hughton took over from Sabri Lamouchi back in October following four successive defeats at the start of the season. There has gradually been an upturn in the club’s league standing.
Lyle Taylor is the side’s top scorer in all competitions so far this season with five goals to his name.
Norwich have a perfectly even record with Forest, the 74 meetings between the sides since 1915 resulting in 28 Norwich wins, 28 Forest wins and 18 draws.
Last time we met, Jacob Sorensen and Emi Buendia scored in front of 2,000 fans at Carrow Road as Norwich won 2-1 in December.
As for our previous trip to the City Ground, that came in October 2018, Timm Klose’s double giving the Canaries a 2-1 win early in the title-winning season.
Leigh Doughty has been appointed to take charge of Wednesday’s game, Robert Merchant and Craig Taylor his assistants and Geoff Eltringham the fourth official.
Wednesday’s game will be the first time that Doughty has overseen a Norwich game.
