Vacancies: Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef de Partie

Two vacancies have arisen to work with the talented Delia's Canary Catering team at Norwich City Football Club.

Chef de Partie
Location: Yellows Bar and Grill, Lotus Cars, Hethel, Delia’s Restaurant and Bar
Contract and Hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, any five days out of seven as agreed including matchdays
Salary: £20,000 per annum

We are excited to present a new opportunity within the Catering Team for 5 enthusiastic and talented Chef de Parties.

These will be based at different Norwich City Football Club locations:
- Two x Yellows Bar and Grill, Norwich
- Two x Lotus Cars, Hethel, Norwich
- One x Delia's Restaurant and Bar

In a fast paced and varied environment, we are searching for excellent communicators, with an open-minded attitude and a pro-active approach to problem solving. The successful applicants should be able to demonstrate experience working in a high-quality catering business, with a track record of operating to high standards under pressure.

The successful applicants will be involved in preparing and serving a variety of food items for all catering areas across Norwich City Football Club, working to recipes pre-set by the Sous Chef and Head Chef. They will have the opportunity to work as a key member of a busy team on matchdays, taking responsibility for their area of service.

Other key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring all recipes as set are followed accurately to maintain high levels of quality
  • Work within a predetermined format to ensure waste is kept to a minimum
  • Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of Food Hygiene to meet Health and Safety Legislation and Requirements and the Club’s Food Management System

The position will involve working weekends, evenings and some bank holidays, so applicants must be able to work some unsociable hours depending on the needs of the business.

Pastry Chef de Partie
Location: Carrow Road, Norwich
Contract and hours: Permanent, 40 hours a week, any five days out of seven as agreed including matchdays
Salary: £20,000 per annum

We are excited to present a new opportunity within the catering team for a motivated and talented Pastry Chef de Partie. In a fast paced and varied environment, we are searching for someone who is an excellent communicator, with an open-minded attitude and a pro-active problem solver. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate experience working in a high-quality catering business and be capable of working in the main parts of the business as a chef during service, with particular focus on the function and banqueting elements.  

The successful applicant will be involved in producing pastry items for all restaurant areas within Delia’s Canary Catering, adhering to the Delia Smith brand and recipes at all times.  

Other key tasks/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the running of a pastry section in one of the matchday restaurants, producing a variety of dishes in line with menus and customer requirements
  • Ensure that all recipes as set by a supervisory member of staff are followed accurately to maintain levels of quality
  • Work within a pre-determined format to keep waste to a minimum, as far as possible
  • Assist with maintaining and recording all aspects of food hygiene to meet health and safety legislation and Requirements and the club’s food management system.
