Norwich City have completed the signing of striker Kenny Coker from Southend United for an undisclosed fee.
Coker, 17, has put pen to paper on a scholarship contract with the Canaries.
The young forward arrives from League Two side Southend United, where he made five senior appearances. The 17-year-old made his first-team debut for the Shrimpers in February 2020, becoming the club’s third youngest player to ever represent Southend at 16-years-old.
Having joined the Canaries after a successful trial period, Coker made his official debut for City’s Under-18s against Fulham in their 3-0 loss earlier in May. The young forward has already made impact for his new teammates, assisting a goal in City’s 3-2 loss to Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
Coker will initially form part of the club’s development and academy setup.
