We are delighted to announce that The Killers will be performing live at Carrow Road on Monday, 1 June.
The band have made a name for themselves as one of the most prominent in rock music since forming in 2001, with hits such as Mr. Brightside, When You Were Young, and Human propelling them to five number one studio albums and a headline set at Glastonbury Festival in 2019.
They’ve gone on to sell 28 million albums, win countless Grammy, Brit, Q, NME nominations and awards and headline stadia and festivals around the world.
They’ll kick off their UK stadium tour in Spring 2020, titled Imploding The Mirage, to coincide with the release of their highly anticipated sixth studio album of the same name.
City’s Chief Operating Officer, Ben Kensell commented: “I’m thrilled to be welcoming The Killers to Carrow Road, it’s exciting to have a band of this calibre coming to perform in Norwich.
“They’re one of the biggest bands in rock music all around the world, so we can’t wait for our fans to have the opportunity to see them live.”
In recent years, Carrow Road has been thrilled to host the likes of Elton John in 2005, George Michael in 2007, Rod Stewart and most recently Take That, who returned to Norwich in 2019 after their first successful sold out tour.
