Westlife to kick-off stadium tour at Carrow Road

We are delighted to announce that Westlife will be performing the opening night of their UK 2020 tour at Carrow Road.

The summer tour will see the band perform all of their greatest hits including ‘Swear It Again’, ‘Flying Without Wings’ and ‘You Raise Me Up’ as well as new songs from their forthcoming album.

Westlife have sold more than 55 million records worldwide and are the only band to have their first seven singles enter the UK chart at No.1.

Overall, the band have had an incredible 14 No.1 singles - only Elvis Presley and The Beatles have had more! They have also had 33 No.1 albums worldwide, selling 5 million concert tickets worldwide.

In recent years, Carrow Road has been thrilled to host the likes of Elton John in 2005, George Michael in 2007, Rod Stewart and most recently Take That, who returned to Norwich in 2019 after their first successful sold out tour.

“The reaction to our comeback tour was beyond anything any of us ever imagined, so we’re going to do it all over again but this time in some of the largest outdoor venues in the UK. The shows are going to be incredible and will include all our greatest hits. We can’t wait to perform at Carrow Road,” said the band.

City’s Chief Operating Officer, Ben Kensell commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Westlife to Carrow Road next June. We have been working hard to make this happen and we know they will put on a real show to make sure everyone has an unforgettable evening.
