JACOB Murphy, alongside his twin brother Josh, burst onto the scene after helping the Under-18s to FA Youth Cup glory in May 2013.

In January 2014, the winger made his first team debut as a late substitute for his brother in the 1-1 draw with Fulham in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

Loan moves to Swindon Town and Southend United followed, with Murphy scoring in a 3-0 win for the latter over Rochdale in April 2013.

He joined Blackpool on loan in November 2014, scoring twice in nine league games before a brief stint at Scunthorpe United.

Murphy rounded off the regular 2014-15 season at Colchester United, inspiring an improbable League One survival for the U's by netting an impressive four times in just 11 matches.

For the length of the 2015-16 campaign the winger was on loan at League One side Coventry City, where he clocked up 42 appearances, scoring ten goals.

Murphy signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal on November 23 2016, keeping him as a Canary until the summer of 2021.

He enjoyed his breakthrough season in 2016-17, memorably scoring a 30-yard rocket in the opening game away to Blackburn Rovers.

The Wembley-born wideman was a first-team regular through that campaign, notching ten goals in total and earning a debut for England's Under-21s.
