Following the recent update from the government and feedback from supporters, Norwich City have revised and updated details of the club’s rebate plan for 2020-21 season ticket holders.

The club can now confirm that it will no longer rebate season ticket holders on a game by game basis, instead opting to forward this season’s payments to secure seats for the 2021-22 campaign.

WHY HAS THE REBATE PROCESS BEEN CHANGED?

Due to the recent government update that projects a significant delay to supporters returning to matches at Carrow Road into 2021, we were forced to revise the details of our rebate plan. Due to this update we are currently unable to offer season ticket holders their seat for current 2020-21 games and as such we wanted to provide a future plan to allow fans to continue to support us as and when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. It is also imperative that we do all we can to keep cash within the club, and by offering season ticket holders the opportunity to put their 2020-21 spend towards their 2021-22 season ticket, we are able to achieve this.

WHAT IS THE NEW REBATE PROCESS?

Following the recent government update and feedback from supports, the club will no longer rebate season ticket holders on a match by match basis, instead opting to forward this season’s payment to secure seats for the 2021-22 campaign. CAN I STILL GET A REFUND FOR MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET?

If you wish to receive a refund, you can request to do so and your 2020-21 season ticket will be cancelled and refunded. See below FAQs for more details dependant on whether you paid for your season ticket in full or by Direct Debit.

WHAT BENEFITS WILL I LOSE IF I CHOOSE TO CANCEL AND REFUND MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET?

If you choose to cancel and refund your season ticket you will lose all of the benefits associated with your 2020-21 season ticket, including access to free iFollow Match Passes, access to any tickets available during this season (subject to government guidelines surrounding the return of supporters to stadiums) and club shop discount. You will also not be automatically entitled to a 2021-22 season ticket.

IF CROWDS RETURN THIS SEASON, HOW CAN I GET A TICKET?

Should government and EFL guidance permit a return of supporters to Carrow Road towards the end of the 2020-21 season, with reduced capacity, we will issue a further update on a ticket application process. Any updates will be communicated via email, so it is vital to ensure that you have an up to date email address on your ticketing account. Please note – if you chose to cancel your 2020-21 season ticket and receive a refund, you will not receive priority access to any match tickets available for the 2020-21 season.

IF I AM CHANGING AGE CATEGORY, HOW DOES THIS AFFECT MY PAYMENT?

Season ticket holders who are approaching a change of age category must pay the actual price for the category they will fall into as of September 2021. Should this change of age category affect you, the club will be in contact at the end of the 2020-21 season.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT THE MEMBERSHIP REBATES?

Membership rebates are unaffected by the change to season ticket rebates. We have already rebated 50% of any membership fee paid for the 2020-21 season and will communicate further updates dependant on any changes to government guidelines.

I PAID IN FULL FOR MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET, HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?

As you paid in full for your 2020-21 season ticket, there is no action required from you with regards to this communication. We will automatically renew your season ticket for the 2021-22 season using the money that you paid for your season ticket this season. As a result of this, the usual season ticket renewal period in January will not take place and you will not have to make any further payments to secure your 2021-22 season ticket.

IF I WANT THE CLUB TO AUTOMATICALLY RENEW MY SEASON TICKET, DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING?

If you are happy to leave the monies paid with the club and use this to automatically renew your season ticket for the 2021-22 season you do not need to perform any action. We will automatically renew your 2021-22 season ticket using the monies paid in full and you will receive a confirmation email of this process in March 2021, there is no need for you to contact us.

I PAID IN FULL, CAN I STILL HAVE A FULL REFUND FOR MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET?

If you wish to receive a full refund, you can request to do so and the payment for your 2020-21 season ticket will be refunded in full. However, if you opt to cancel your season ticket and receive a full refund you will not be automatically entitled to a 2021-22 season ticket and this will result in a cancellation of your 2020-21 season ticket along with a loss of any of the benefits associated with this.

IF I WANT TO CANCEL MY SEASON TICKET AND RECEIVE A REFUND, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

If you wish to cancel your season ticket and receive a refund for this as per the above, you should contact the ticket office on 01603 721902 (option 1). You must inform us of your cancellation request no later than Friday November 20 in order for us to process this.

CAN I CANCEL MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET AND STILL RESERVE MY SEAT FOR NEXT SEASON?

If you wish to cancel your 2020-21 season ticket and receive a full refund you are able to do this as per the above. You can then also request to reserve your season ticket seat and we will hold this for you. We will then provide a sales window in March 2021 to afford you the opportunity to repurchase your season ticket seat for the 2021-22 season. To process the above you will need to contact the ticket office on 01603 721902 (option 1).

I PAY FOR MY 2020-21 SEASON TICKET VIA DIRECT DEBIT, HOW DOES THIS AFFECT ME?

If you have been paying for your 2020-21 season ticket by Direct Debit, there is no action required from you with regards to this communication. We will use any money that you have currently paid (up until receipt of this letter) plus your remaining Direct Debit payments (concluding in February 2021) to automatically renew your 2021-22 season ticket. As a result of this the usual season ticket renewal period in January will not take place and you will not have to make any Direct Debit payments from March 2021 onwards for your 2021-22 season ticket.

IF I WANT THE CLUB TO AUTOMATICALLY RENEW MY SEASON TICKET, DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING?

You do not need to perform any action on the back of this communication if you wish to renew your season ticket for the 2021-22 season. We will automatically renew this using any monies currently paid by Direct Debit plus any remaining Direct Debit payments up until February 2021 and you will receive a confirmation email of this process in March 2021, there is no need for you to contact us.

CAN I STOP MY DIRECT DEBIT AND RECEIVE A REFUND FOR ANY PAYMENTS I HAVE ALREADY MADE?

If you wish to cancel your Direct Debit payments, you can request to do so and future payments for your 2020-21 season ticket will be stopped. A full refund can also be processed for any Direct Debit payments made towards your 2020-21 season ticket if you wish to cancel. However, if you opt to cancel your season ticket and receive a full refund you will not be automatically entitled to a 2021-22 season ticket and this will result in a cancellation of your 2020-21 season ticket along with a loss of any of the benefits associated with this.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

If you still wish to cancel your season ticket, stop any future 2020-21 Direct Debit payments, and receive a refund for any payments you have already made, as per the above, you should contact the ticket office on 01603 721902 (option 1). You must inform us of your cancellation request no later than Friday November 20 in order for us to process this.
