All you need to know: West Brom v Norwich City

Norwich City travel to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom on Saturday as the Canaries return to Sky Bet Championship action (kick-off 3pm).

Norwich go into the game sitting second in the table on 49 points, three points ahead of the Baggies.

West Brom sit fourth despite losing to Blackburn Rovers on New Year's Day, with Jake Livermore getting sent off late on.

Getting to the Hawthorns

The postcode for the Hawthorns is B71 4LF. For directions from Carrow Road, click HERE

Away fans are housed on one side of the Smethwick End, meaning that the stand is shared with home supporters.

There are a variety of different bus routes that run along the A41 stopping adjacent to The Hawthorns. The rail and Metro services both stop at The Hawthorns station on Halfords Lane/Middlemore Road.

The Hawthorns is located on the A41 (Birmingham-West Bromwich Road). The ground is about half a mile from Junction 1 of the M5. On leaving the M5 take the A41 towards Birmingham, the ground is on your right.

Meet the opposition

West Brom are currently sitting on 46 points in the table and a win on Saturday would see them overtake City on goal difference. 

Darren Moore was appointed as Head Coach of the Baggies back in May as the club was relegated from the Premier League, having spent time both playing and coaching at the Hawthorns.

City last came up against West Brom at the start of the season, with the Baggies being the Canaries first home game of the season. The visitors beat Norwich 4-3 that day, with Jay Rodriguez scoring a brace.

Last time out West Brom progressed through to the fourth round of the Emirates FA Cup, beating fellow Championship outfit Wigan 1-0 at the Hawthorns.

Dwight Gayle and Rodriguez have scored a combined 26 goals in all competitions this season for the Baggies who are the Championship’s top scorers with 54 goals in 26 games.
