CITY's Under-21s became the first Norfolk Invitation Cup winners for 24 years after beating Dereham Town 4-0 at the Football Development Centre in Bowthorpe.
A Canaries XI that included four trialists eased to victory on Friday night thanks to goals from Uche Ikpeazu, Louis McIntosh, Benny Ashley-Seal and Diallang Jaiyesimi.
The cup, first played for in 1961, was reintroduced this year with Norfolk Senior Cup winners Dereham earning the chance to face the Canaries.
Both sides had chances before trialist Ikpeazu fired City into a 38th-minute lead, beating Magpies goalkeeper Will Viner.
11 minutes in the second period, a neat one-two between McIntosh and Jamie Mellon ended with the former doubling Norwich's advantage.
Ben Killip kept out Dawid Radomski's effort before City added their third 11 minutes from time when Ashley-Seal finished clinically, and Jaiyesimi notched the fourth with a fine individual effort late on.
City's Under-21s will now join the first team on their training camp in Austria, with friendlies lined up against Ferencvaros and FC Slovacko.
