NORWICH City will play two pre-season friendlies during a week’s training camp in Germany and Austria later this month.
The Canaries are set to fly out to their training base in Grassau, southern Germany on Saturday, July 18 before crossing the border to Austria to take on Israeli outfit Maccabi Haifa
at the Kufstein-Arena in Kufstein on Monday, July 20 (6.30pm local time).
Alex Neil’s men will then play Bundesliga side FC Augsburg
at the Am Sportplatz 2 on Bernauer Street in Prien am Chiemsee on Saturday July 25 (2pm local time) before returning to the UK later that day.
City’s pre-season schedule is now complete ahead of their Barclays Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on Saturday, August 8.
Last month, friendlies at Gorleston, Hitchin Town and Cambridge United were announced
alongside Carrow Road meetings with West Ham United and Brentford.
Maccabi Haifa are one of the most successful clubs in Israeli football history having won the national title 12 times. They finished fifth in the Premier League table in 2014-15.
FC Augsburg will play in this season’s Europa League after a sensational campaign saw them end up fifth in the Bundesliga, above sides such as Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke.
For supporters wishing to attend either or both of the matches abroad, please note that further information regarding tickets and access will be announced when confirmed.
