As part of a series of features looking at ex-Canaries, Steve Whitlam tracks the progress of some former Norwich City players who are currently working is Asia & Oceania.

Dutch defender Jurgen Colin (2005-07) joined Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv on June 2, 2013 from Cypriot side Anorthis Famagusta. He had been in Cyprus since January 2011. Colin played 64 times for City.

At the time of writing, Czech striker David Strihavka (2007-08) was on trial with Malaysian side Sarawak. He joined Lebanese side Al-Ahed in August 2013 but was released on January 1.

Also in Malaysia is former loan signing Zesh Rehman (2006) who joined Pahang on December 4, 2013. Pahang play in the Malaysian Super League and won the Malaysian Cup in 2013. The Pakistan international defender made six appearances for Norwich on loan from Fulham.

Fellow loan signing Mark Seagraves (1986) moved to Delhi, India in May 2013 to work for a company called "India On Track" in conjunction with Arsenal Soccer Schools. The aim is to create a structure to develop football in India. Seagraves made three appearances for Norwich on loan from Liverpool.

New Zealand international forward Chris Killen (2009) was playing in China for Chongqing but was released in December 2013. He moved to China from Middlesbrough in July 2010 joining Shenzhen Ruby. Killen made four appearances for Norwich on loan from Celtic.

In Killen’s homeland, former Norwich midfielder Neil Emblen (2001-03) has been managed third tier side Western Springs since December 19, 2012. He had previously led Waitakere United to three league titles as well as managing the New Zealand Under-23 side at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

In Australia Spencer Prior (1993-96) was appointed Technical Director for Football Federation Tasmania in August 2013, working on player development and coach education. He also coaches the Australian Women’s Under-19s team.

Canary legend Ian Crook (1986-97, 2009-10) has been coach co-ordinator for Football New South Wales since January 2013. He was previously manager at Australian A-League side Sydney FC.

Playing in the A-League are former loan signings David Carney (2009) and Adrian Leijer (2009). Carney joined Newcastle Jets on February 2, 2014, having previously played for New York Red Bulls. Leijer joined Melbourne Victory in August 2009.

Goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos (2009-10) has played for league leaders Brisbane Roar since March 2010.
