The match is City’s last at home this season and marks the final game of Wes Hoolahan’s 10-year City career, with the midfielder set to leave at the end of the season.

Leeds United’s goals this season have been spread around a number of different sources with forwards Kemar Roofe and Pierre-Michel Lasogga at the top of the tree with ten goals apiece.

Roofe (pictured) joined Leeds in 2016 after an impressive season at Oxford United where he helped them to promotion to League One.

The forward struggled for goals in his first season at Elland Road but has markedly improved this season and his endeavours have seen him shortlisted for Leeds’ Player of the Season.

Lasogga arrived in west Yorkshire having made a name for himself in Germany with the likes of Hertha Berlin and Hamburg.

After joining on loan in the summer, Lasogga has scored 10 times in 21 league matches which gives him an impressive goals per game ratio.

Furthermore, the creative trio of Pablo Hernandez, Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski are a threat to any opposing defence.

Leeds had a terrific start to the season under former boss Thomas Christensen but since their unbeaten start ended at Millwall on September 16, they’ve struggled for any real consistency.

In 2018, they’ve only won three times and all those triumphs have been at Elland Road. In their last five games, Paul Heckingbottom’s side have only picked up three points.

Leeds were beaten 2-0 at promotion chasing Fulham on April 3 before a disappointing draw at home to lowly Sunderland. Gaetano Berardi was shown a straight red card in that game.

Leeds were then beaten at Preston and Aston Villa before returning to winning ways in a 2-1 triumph over relegation threatened Barnsley last time out.

Left-back Tom Pearce gave Leeds an early lead before a Paudie O’Connor own goal brought Barnsley back into the match.

However, Alioski’s second-half strike was enough to see Leeds to their first victory in six.

Previous meeting
Pontus Jansson's header gave Leeds victory over City back in December in the last time the two side met.

Jansson rose highest to convert Pawel Cibicki's corner at the far post towards the end of the first-half but City had plenty of chances to level.

Alex Pritchard went closest, beating goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald but seeing his effort come back off the bar.
