The 2018-19 fixtures for the upcoming Sky Bet Championship have just been released and anticipation is building ahead of Norwich City’s opening game at Birmingham City on Saturday, August 4.
Here’s our look at what City will face from the three teams who achieved promotion from League One - Wigan Athletic, Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United:

Paul Cook led Wigan back to the Championship at the first time of asking, right after guiding Portsmouth to the League Two title 12 months before. Whilst cruising to the title, Wigan also enjoyed another impressive FA Cup run, reaching the quarter-finals after beating Premier League sides Bournemouth, West Ham United and Manchester City.
Wigan were the highest scorers in League One last season with 89 goals and they also conceded the fewest number of goals with 29 and Cook will hope his side can use their momentum to impress on their return to the second tier.

Away: Dec 22
Blackburn bounced back from the disappointment of their second relegation in five years at the end of last season by finishing second in League One. In the end, they finished just two points behind champions Wigan, only losing six of their 46 league games.
Bradley Dack will be key to Rovers having a successful season if Tony Mowbray can keep hold of his prized asset this summer. The 24-year-old was voted League One Player of the Season after scoring 18 goals and assisting a further eight from midfield.

Away: Mar 16
Rotherham are managed by Norfolk-born Paul Warne and they achieved a swift return back to the Championship via last season’s League One play-offs, beating Shrewsbury Town in the final at Wembley.
Their last season at this level ended in disappointment as they finished well adrift at the bottom of the league standings and Warne will be hoping to guide the Millers to a much better finish in the 2018-19 season.
