NORWICH City's first Carrow Road game of the 2016-17 season, against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday August 13, will be broadcast by Sky Sports.

The home match against May's defeated play-off finalists will now kick off at 5.30pm after the fixture was selected for live coverage.

City's full schedule was released last Wednesday, with Alex Neil's team travelling to Blackburn Rovers on the opening weekend before their clash with the Owls.

Wednesday, under the guidance of Portuguese manager Carlos Carvalhal, missed out on promotion to the Premier League after losing 1-0 to Hull City at Wembley last month.
