NORWICH City could be without Robbie Brady for their home meeting with Derby County on Monday, January 2 (3pm) after the Republic of Ireland international was sent off during New Year's Eve's 0-0 draw at Brentford.
Brady's dismissal means he is set to serve a suspension pending the outcome of a possible appeal, potentially ruling him out for the visit of Steve McClaren's side to Carrow Road.
"I thought the red card was harsh," City boss Alex Neil told reporters in his post-match press conference.
"We will look to appeal but with the proximity to the next game I'm not sure it's possible. It's certainly something we will discuss."
Conversely, Jonny Howson will definitely be available for selection, having served a one-game ban following his red card at Reading on Boxing Day.
Graham Dorrans is set to be missing for 'quite a few weeks' with a medial ligament injury, while Louis Thompson is moving closer to a return to fitness.
The Canaries have no fresh injury concerns from the game at Griffin Park, with Neil confirming further decisions on selection will be made once his players have been fully assessed.
