Timm Klose and Moritz Leitner have missed a couple of days training this week, while Ivo Pinto isn’t yet back at 100% fitness and Harrison Reed has felt some tightness in his back.

“Timm Klose and Moritz Leitner had some problems with their calves,” Farke told the press on Friday lunchtime. “Timm felt some pain after the weekend and wasn’t able to train on Wednesday and Thursday but he returned today and it looks like he’ll be available so I’m not too concerned.

“With Moritz we have to be careful with his load. But he’s in really good shape, it’s just a sign he worked a lot in the last game – he covered the most ground of anyone this season. He didn’t feel 100% comfortable in the week, but I think he’ll be available.

“He did some individual programmes on Wednesday and Thursday, and today he trained together with us and if there’s no reaction he will be able to train with us tomorrow. We just have to be careful with him as it was his first game of 90 minutes for several months.”

Pinto was on the bench against Derby County after returning from a knee injury, but Farke says he will make a late call on who takes the right-back slot following Reed's impressive performances in Pinto's absence.

“Ivo didn’t feel 100% comfortable at the beginning of the week but in the last two days he’s looked much improved and looks good,” said Farke. “He’s available but we just have to be careful because when you’re not available for three weeks it’s difficult to have three games in a week.

“Harrison has had some tightness in his back. Harry has done really well in the right-back position, and we’ll have to wait to see what we do for Ipswich and for Wolves. I haven’t taken the decision yet, so I will wait over the next two days.

“Harry can play in many roles, and I think he’s been crucial in our last games and it shows his football intelligence. Ivo Pinto is our captain and our leader and we look forward to having him back at 100%, but we have to be careful after his injury.”

Farke had positive news about Matt Jarvis, who hasn’t featured for the Canaries since the end of the 2015-16 season.

“Matt has returned to team training this week. He totally fits our style – he’s smart and can keep the ball in tight spaces. But if we’re really honest I can’t say he’ll back in the squad in one or two weeks because he’s been out for so long.

“We have to be sensible with him, and he has to adapt to the speed of the team training and to the duels – he probably needs four or five weeks with the team to be an option for a match.

“But I’m really happy for him as he has a really good attitude, and we’re really pleased he’s back.”
