WHO ARE WE?

We are Norwich City Football Club. When we say the “Club”, “us”, “we”, “our” we mean Norwich City Football Club.

WHAT IS THIS?

Sometimes we may get information about you, for example because you use our websites including www.canaries.co.uk/juniors, because you have set up a Junior Canaries account or because you have been to one of our events at our stadium. We have to follow certain rules to make sure that we use the information we get about you in the right way.

This is where you find out what information we get about you, why we get it and how we use it and keep it safe.

WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW DO WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION?

The kind of information we get about you may include:

Information that you might give us when you use our website or create a Junior Canaries account. This might include your name, date of birth, account log-in information, personal description, contact details such as an email address, telephone number and address if you are old enough (or if not, the contact details of your parent or guardian).
Information that we automatically get from you when you use our websites. This might include information about the time spent on a page of our website and other information about what you looked at on our website. We may also get information about how you accessed the website, for example if this was on your phone or laptop.
Information that we receive from other people about you. We may also receive some information about you from other people, for example, your parents or guardians have bought something for you from us, like a ticket to one of our events.

We may also collect information about you such as your age or location to make your experience on the website better. In some cases, we might add extra information that we receive from other people about you to improve our website, like making our website more interesting for you.

WHY DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA AND HOW DO WE USE IT?

Set up and keep your Junior Canaries online account profiles.
For our own internal record keeping purposes.
So that you can enter any competitions (if eligible).

Advertise the Club and our events and products.

There are legal reasons why we use your information and more information is set out in our main Privacy Policy. This will usually be so that we can give you the benefits of your Junior Canaries membership, but will also include certain interests of the Club.

MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA

We may use your information to send you news and updates that we think you might like to your email or to your phone by text or in other ways. If you are under 13 we will need your parent’s or guardian’s permission before we can send you marketing. If you are 13 or older, you can give us your permission directly.

If you no longer want to receive these messages from us, you can click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email we send to you, you can contact us or ask your parent or guardian to contact us. You can ask us to stop sending these messages at any time.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

We collect some information about you automatically. Our websites use “cookie” technology – not the kind you can eat! These cookies are small files that store information on devices such as your laptop or phone. We use cookies so that our website works well and remembers other information such as what area you live in. DOES YOUR INFORMATION GO ABROAD?

Sometimes we may need to share your information abroad. Whenever we send your information abroad, we make sure that it is protected. You or your parent or guardian can find out more in our main Privacy Policy or by contacting us using the details below.

WHO ELSE GETS YOUR INFORMATION?

We may need to share your information with other people. This may include:

Your parents or guardians.
People who work or volunteer for the Club including the Club’s suppliers.
Future owners of the Club if we get bought.
Professional advisors of the Club, for example lawyers.
Sponsors of the Club.
The police and other authorities, for example where they need to help or keep you or other children safe.
Other football organisations, for example The Football Association.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will keep your information for as long as we need to before we will delete or remove the information. In some cases, we may need to keep your information for a longer period of time.

OTHER WEBSITES

Our websites may send you to other websites that we do not own or run. You should make sure to read the policy (or ask your parent or guardian to read the policy) of the other websites.

USE OF CCTV

For your safety, we have CCTV in place at our stadium and our other premises. These cameras help us protect the stadium and other areas, and the people who use those areas, including you. The images and videos we take are securely stored and may be used for security purposes such as investigating incidents. We only keep CCTV images and videos for a short time unless we need to keep it for longer to look into an issue.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

You or your parent or guardian can:

Look at, change or correct information that we hold about you.
Delete your account or profile.
Ask us to stop using your information and give you a copy of the information that we hold about you.
Stop sending you information such as newsletters about upcoming events and competitions.

You or your parent or guardian can contact us using the details below if you would like to do any of these things above or if you have any questions about how we use your information. We will respond to you as soon as we can. Sometimes we may say no to your request for example, if you ask us to delete your information but the law says that we have to keep it.
