Norwich City Academy won the 2024/25 Norfolk Hire Senior Cup with a 4-1 victory over Wroxham at Carrow Road.

Wroxham took the lead just after the 10-minute mark as Asa McGeachy spun in the area and found the bottom corner with a fine finish.

The Canaries created half-chances through Errol Mundle-Smith and AJ Bridge as they went in search of an equaliser.

And they'd find the leveller not long before the half-hour mark as Dylan Jones equalised. The striker latched onto a ball forward after shrugging off a defender, before rounding the goalkeeper and finishing into an empty net.

Brandon Forbes could've put Norwich ahead as he met a Harmony Okwumo cross, but he couldn't keep his effort down.

Norwich went ahead eight minutes into the second half as Harry Brooke's cross found Forbes and the Scotsman finished into the far corner.

Three minutes later, the Canaries had their third. A cross into the box was met by the on-running Toby Chilvers who finished from close range.

Forbes nearly added a fourth, but saw his effort go just wide of the post. But moments later, he would get that fourth City goal of the afternoon. A fine passing move saw Jones unleash Forbes, who finished brilliantly.

But the Canaries would see out the game and be crowned as Norfolk Hire Senior Cup winners.
