Norwich City Under-21s coach Alan Neilson says his side are fully prepared for their upcoming fixture against Sunderland on Friday, January 13.
"We've had a real good week of training," he said.
"We'll be fully prepared. We come into this on the back of a good result. Our three forwards each scored, but I'd still expect a little bit more from them.
"I'd like to see more movement from them, but it's the first game of the year and we haven't had a game for quite a while. The defence kept a clean sheet, and now they've got to try to do it again."
In Friday night's win against Stoke City, the Under-21s kept their first clean sheet of the season, with goalkeeper Jon McCracken saving a penalty, something that Neilson would like to build upon.
"We came close to keeping one against Derby County, but they scored a late goal. But the boys are happy to keep a clean sheet, and it helps when we can stop the other team from getting chances.
"I felt, early on against Stoke, we didn't really deal with the ball over the top. In the second half, it was better. We've worked on that this week, and hopefully they can go out and do it again."
Sunderland come into this fixture on the back of a 7-5 defeat to Middlesbrough, as well as a 4-1 defeat in the PL Cup against Wolves.
Despite two poor results, Neilson says his side need to be wary of the opposition's reaction.
"They were in action on Monday, and had a very entertaining game against their local rivals Middlesbrough, where they lost 7-5. I said to the boys that we expect them to bounce back from that game and they'll be at it.
"It'll be difficult to play against a team that's just conceded seven, and the game before they conceded four, but we've got to be on it from the first minute. Hopefully we'll have the right attitude and play well."
In the game's reverse fixture back in August, the Canaries were 3-2 winners at the Lotus Training Centre.
Despite Norwich's previous victory, Neilson predicts a different Sunderland side this week.
"It does help when we've played them already this season, but as we do with any game, we have our analysis on the opposition. Tom Hart will watch the games, he's watched Sunderland's recent games and we'll go from there.
"Naturally, when we watch previous games, the team will change. Players might be in the first-team, or they might be injured. The players will do this analysis too, they'll be part of the game plan meeting where they look at the opposition, and we'll work together to see how we can get at them and get results and clean sheets."
