Norwich City Under-18s player Pedro Amadou says it was a good team performance, following their 3-2 win over Ipswich Town.
The 17-year-old scored and assisted as Greg Crane's side continued their pre-season preparations on Tuesday afternoon.
"I think the game went well, I'm glad to be scoring goals and to be playing well and performing with a good team performance," he said.
"It was a good team performance, especially against our rivals Ipswich. I think it went very well."
Amadou has been a threat in the final third for Norwich so far in pre-season and will be hoping to carry that into the Under-18 Premier League South.
"Always good to score and assist. I'm grateful to contribute when I can. As a striker and a creator, it's what I'm supposed to do. I'm grateful that I was able to today," he adds.
"We're all very excited to get the league season started. We've been waiting for the season to start for a very long time, I feel like we have a very good group, everyone gets along well.
"I think we'll have a good season this year."
The Under-18s conclude their pre-season campaign with an away fixture against Wolves on Saturday, August 5.
