Norwich City are delighted to announce that Amber's Army has been selected as the club's next matchday charity partner.
Amber’s Army is a Norfolk-based family charity, aiming to ‘create rainbows in the darkest of days’ for Norfolk families who have a child with a terminal cancer diagnosis.
The charity was established in 2023 by the parents of Amber Sheehy, Jon and Amanda, in their daughter’s memory.
Amber was first diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019 and after a brave fight, she sadly lost her battle to cancer in 2023, aged eight.
She was voted for by fans as the Norwich City Fan of the Season for the 2021/22 season, receiving thousands of nominations for her resilience in life and support as a Canary.
Amber's Army are committed to creating memories and experiences that will last a lifetime for the whole family and are there to provide emotional support.
Families are referred to the charity by Norfolk hospitals or hospices and then a plan is put together for the family's needs to make amazing memories and experiences together.
They can also assist in signposting the family to other means of emotional and financial support during this period.
The charities functionality is only available thanks to support, fundraising and donations.
On being nominated, Amanda said: "We are very grateful to have been chosen, as Amber loved Norwich City. We all have season tickets, including one still in Amber's name.
"The love and support we have received since Amber passed from Norwich City has been very heart warming.
"We hope to be able to share awareness of Amber's Army today, so that we can help other families who have a child with a terminal cancer diagnosis to create rainbows in the darkest of days."
Through matchday activation, our focus is to help charitable organisations raise awareness of their work and to raise funds.
Amber's Army will have their official dedicated matchday on Saturday, November 25, for Norwich City's Sky Bet Championship fixture against QPR.

This charity was chosen by the inclusion working group, who compiled a shortlist of applicants and then all members of Norwich City staff were able to place their final votes.
A second matchday charity partner for this season will be confirmed closer to their official takeover date.
