During a community football event organised by Anglian Home Improvements, over 150 students from three Norfolk schools had the opportunity to play on the prestigious Carrow Road pitch.
Offering a unique opportunity for pupils to follow in the footsteps of the club’s players, students from Great Yarmouth Primary School, The Wherry School and Diss High School attended the day and played in a series of friendly tournaments and football activities.
Hosted in collaboration with both the club and its primary partner, Anglian Home Improvements organised the day to inspire young people, encourage teamwork and promote active lifestyles, while reinforcing its commitment to giving back and supporting local communities.
During the morning session, pupils from Great Yarmouth Primary School enjoyed a memorable experience when they met former City striker, Simeon Jackson.

“We are incredibly grateful to have been invited to take part in such a fantastic opportunity, the kids are thrilled they can say they got to play in a professional stadium.”
Sam Stopps, Head Teacher at Diss High School, said: “Seeing our pupils play on the same pitch as some of their heroes was an unforgettable experience.
“We hope today has inspired them to go on and hopefully one day step back out on the pitch, representing the Canaries.”
