Norwich City hit four again, this time past Coventry City, as they made it two consecutive wins in the Sky Bet Championship for the first time since September.

Head coach David Wagner went with an unchanged squad from his first league game at Deepdale - both the starting XI and bench remaining the same.

As with the trip to Preston a week before, City started incredibly quickly and found themselves 2-0 in front after just 10 minutes.

The Canaries bagged two either side of an emotional round of applause in memory of the club's fan of the season, Amber Sheehy.

First, a corner-kick ended up in the net via a Coventry defender in the sixth minute before Onel Hernández managed to wriggle away from pressure and notch a second.

The first half chaos didn't stop there though with Josh Sargent and Sky Blues captain Jamie Allen swapping goals in the space of two minutes, still inside the opening quarter of the game.

Kasey Palmer, who seemed to strike the ball at the same time as Victor Gyokeres, brought it back to one when he fired home after 25 minutes and brought the home crowd back into the game.

Hernández had a chance to restore the two-goal cushion almost immediately after but his effort was inches over the crossbar, a let-off for Coventry.

A slightly more contained second half saw both sides fight for supremacy in the middle third with Norwich's Gabriel Sara almost omnipresent at times.

Clear-cut chances weren't coming as freely as the opening 45 minutes but Hernández did strike the post at the end of one of his typically positive forays forward.

In the 65th minute, Kieran Dowell picked up his third in two games to grant some breathing room for Wagner's side.

From there, it was just on the Canaries to hold on which they did comfortably.
