Norwich City can confirm that Ashley Barnes has departed Norwich City and completed a permanent move to Burnley.
The striker arrived at Carrow Road during the 2023 summer transfer window and would go on to make 41 appearances for the club in his first season, scoring seven goals.
In 2024/25, he has made eight further appearances for City.
Barnes has now returned to Burnley having spent nine years there from 2014 to 2023.
During that time, he made 293 appearances with 67 goal contributions.
Sporting director Ben Knapper said: “Ashley leaves with our very best wishes, and we thank him for his contributions over the last 18 months.
“He was an extremely well-liked member of our group, and an important figure in the dressing room.
“We all wish him nothing but the best for the future."
